JKG’s
marketing team is comprised of professionals with varied backgrounds
and deep knowledge of the U.S. food industry. Together, they have
nearly a century of experience and the know-how to successfully
introduce new products and expand markets for existing products.
Justin
Marx
Director
Justin Marx
leads the marketing team in developing strategic marketing solutions,
coordinates between clients and the marketing team, and directs
project implementation.
Mr. Marx has
over five years experience in the U.S. food industry. Mr. Marx
holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Buffalo and a
J.D. from American University. He is a member of Pacific Northwest
Advisors, the World Affairs Council’s Young Professionals
Board, and the Washington State Bar Association. He has written
for Export America and the eWorld Trader Newsletter and recently
lectured at the World Trade Center Tacoma on marketing strategy
in the U.S. Food Industry. As a young man, Mr. Marx worked in
various food industry positions including food production, wholesaling,
retailing, and food service.
Ryan Clark
Chief Marketing Designer
Ryan Clark converts product attributes and marketing strategy into attractive advertisements, collateral, packaging and websites that effectively communicate benefits to the target market.
Mr. Clark‘s creative experience is extensive. For the past six years, he has designed and executed marketing pieces, predominantly in the B2B food service environment. Much of that experience was with the largest liquor brands in the world including the Diageo Company (Smirnoff Vodka, Johnny Walker Scotch Whiskey, Baileys Irish Cream), Moët Hennessy and Heineken USA. Mr. Clark‘s talents and skills are wide-ranging, allowing him to see projects from conception, photography and illustration, through design and layout, to print and web implementation.
Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Linfield College with an Art History and Communication Arts emphasis. He is passionate about food.
Katy Springer
Marketing Associate
Katy Springer manages clients’ online advertising, search engine optimization and direct marketing campaigns, in addition to overseeing direct marketing research and database management.
Ms. Springer holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Washington. Prior to joining JKG Marketing, she spent several years working in various capacities in food service and retail.

Marx
Chief Marketing Strategist
Frank Marx
is a food marketing expert who brings his keen sense of market
opportunities and savvy marketing communication ability to all
aspects of client projects.
Mr. Marx adds
four decades of food marketing experience to the JKG team. He
has pioneered many changes in U.S. meat industry since he began
working in the family meat business as a child. Mr. Marx runs
Marx Imports, a company that has successfully introduced dozens
of food products into the U.S.

Burns
Senior Marketing Strategist
Tom Burns
consults with the JKG team and provides invaluable market insight
and advice in the development of client marketing strategy.
Mr. Burns
has spent over a decade in each of the following roles: supermarket
store manager, plant manager for large food producer, and sales,
marketing and logistics director of Marx Imports. |
